Diageo has launched its rarest and oldest of the Singleton of Glendullan range as a travel retail exclusive. Available only in Asia, the 40 year old whisky is the first release from the Forgotten Drop series.
Maureen Robinson who is the master of malts at Singleton said "The Singleton Forgotten Drop Series is an exciting collection to curate. We have been exploring the deepest corners of our warehouse to find hidden treasures". She added " The amount of time these liquids spent maturing in this type of cask makes it so precious. It’s whisky for whisky lovers."
The Singleton of Glendullan 40 Year Old
The Singleton of Glendullan 40 year old single malt was matured exclusively in refill American oak casks which produced only 600 bottles. It is bottled at cask strength of 58.6% abv. and already available at Singapore Changi Airport and Taiwan Taoyuan Airport.
Diageo, one of the largest Scotch producers, is also celebrating International Scotch Day on the 8th of February 2018.
